The BTC conveyor belt has a central beam which can be raised and lowered to allow protective packaging to be positioned on corners of items before the next stage of the packing process. The finished item is positioned centrally along the belt, over the lifting beam. Using a foot pedal the beam is then raised so that protective packaging can be placed on the corners.
